About this Job
Do you love helping people? Union Connect seeks someone experienced in web support, email support, telephone support and social media support to help answer mail from members with aim to improve documentation based on received requests. You’ll revise and improve help documentation, work with cross functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of new documentation and updates to existing documentation.
You’ll be responsible for identifying points where documentation will improve user experience and efficiency, and organizing and completing projects with other cross functional teams. Strong background in help documentation (written, video, audio, etc.) and a passion for helping explain new concepts or clarify confusing ones required!
This is a growing area in our company, so we are looking for dynamic people that really can work with everyone, dynamic team. Each person has a lot of responsibility, and a wide creative latitude. Problem solving, trouble shooting and liaising with the rest of the Union Connect team is a major part of the job, in addition to helping as many users as possible as quickly and efficiently as possible. Responsibilities
•Clear, professional, email communication with union membership
•Identify points where documentation will improve user experience and efficiency
•Organize and complete documentation projects with cross functional teams
•Creation of help materials, such as articles, audio, and videos
Qualifications
•Active, passionate person
•Excellent communication skills, phenomenal written skills
•Minimum of one year experience in online user support
•Previous, demonstrable experience with creation of online help resources
•Strong interest in technology/knowledge of the Internet industry
•Experience with policy work, or help resource project management
•Some college courses in computer science
