Human Resources Generalist

Dallas, TX - Full Time


We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.  The HR Generalist drives and delivers the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs. This includes: employee relations, benefits, compensation, HRIS, training and organizational development.

 

The HRG is an integral part of the HR department and reports to the VP of Human Resources.

 

Responsibilities include:


  1. Administer and maintain records for benefits and employment transactions, such as insurance, new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, etc.

  2. Assist with payroll and benefits administration

  3. Evaluate and make recommendations for improvement in HR systems and programs, such as HRIS, orientation, training, etc.

  4. Assist in development and implementation of HR programs, including, but not limited to performance management, reward & recognition, on-boarding and exit interviews, etc.

  5. Constantly strive for and recommend HR practices that maximize performance, productivity, efficiency and morale across the organization

  6. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory laws

  7. Ownership of employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

  8. Maintain an awareness of best practices, trends and challenges within HR

  9. Act as a team player to the entire company 

 

Qualifications:


  1. A strong track record of engaging across an organization to develop and maintain productive relationships

  2. Proven experience proactively identifying problems and coming to the table with solutions

  3. HR expertise complemented by a strong business acumen

  4. Embody integrity, honesty and can-do spirit

  5. Excellent written and verbal skills

  6. Ability to digest, analyze and present data in a clear, concise and convincing manner

  7. Has a bias to action; ability to work with little direction

  8. At least 5 years of HR experience in a corporate environment

  9. Experience in high tech is a big plus; start up experience is also a bonus

  10. BS or equivalent experience is required; HR certification or education is preferred
