About
Union Connect is a privately held company with offices in Dallas, Texas and Austin, Texas. Currently we are looking at opening offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Birmingham, Alabama. We started out as a “podcasting” company and eventually grew into a full grown company specializing in communication redistribution for labor union and other organizations that needs to communicate with a large group of people.
Rick Alexander moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2006 doing contract work with a small union local looking to improve their communications with their membership. Working with the local president and the executive board it was decided that communications was a priority and that they wanted to build a system that would allow them to communicate with all of their members.
The philosophy of Union Connect their would be no boundaries or limits to which device, system or location a member could receive information.
Our team continues to look at all forms of communications and union needs to provide the best solutions for the membership. We do not limit ourselves to one platform, device, or system. We are continuously looking for better solutions.
Our focus is solely on the redistribution of communications. We listen to local presidents, national unions, and membership. We are guided by the fact that technology today is more complicated then ever, meeting the needs of all forms of communications with memberships today is about relationships and connecting unions to membership. We however are aware of the fact that keeping things open and simple must be the driving force for everyone to realize any benefit.
